Midwifery Law is Progessing

At the beginning of 2018, there are several agenda of Central Board of Indonesian Midwife Association (PP IBI) related to progress of Midwife Law. On January 23 and January 30, 2018 was held Discussion Meeting of Problems Inventory List (DIM) of Midwifery Draft law by Ministry of Health together with related stakeholders ie Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of Indonesia, Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucracy Reform, Ministry Secretariat of State of RI, Agency for Development and Empowerment of Human Health Resources, the experts of Republic Indonesia House of Representatives , and IMA attended by President of Indonesian Midwives Association, Dr. Emi Nurjasmi, M.Kes with the team.

Every effort has been made to the maximum extent possible, and the Midwife Law will continue to proceed. Hopefully the Midwifery Law can be passed soon. Please pray and support from all Indonesian Midwives! Live Midwife Indonesia!

Plenary Approves the Midwifery Draft Act as Parliament's Initiative Proposal

The plenary session, led by House Speaker Fadli Zon, agreed on the Midwifery Draft Act as an initiative proposal of DPR RI. Prior to the agreement, each faction was given the opportunity to say a written opinion about the Midwifery Draft Law to be followed up with the decision making as a draft of the House of Representatives Initiative proposal.
